Concept designs are so strange sometimes. Still upset we never got this behemoth of a PS4

I always wanted one and still do, wish we got the same amount of colour variants for the ps1 that the ps2 got.
Well the xbox one Digital with like 3 games, v bucks and an extra controller was only £150 on amazon so this doesn't surprise me. A few work friends picked it up as you can't beat that price
Looks like every company had a good black Friday in different ways
I don't think you realise that a lot of wii u exclusives, particularly the Mario ones weren't very good. There hasn't been any major problems with switch exclusives like there was with Wii U.
Like starfox, Mario tennis, paper Mario, animal crossing ammibo, etc they all really weren't very good
My bad, that'd what I meant, 3 million is crazy in a day nonetheless
I swear there was an article yesterday where it reached $47 million, how is it getting so much funding so quickly??
Switch will be more than fine, the more thought provoking question would be the switch being a threat to ps5/Scarlett without a pro version.
Every new Nintendo release usually hits top 10, with Luigi's Mansion 3, Ring fit adventure and Pokemon S/S in the top 10 consistently since release. There is arguably too much to play on switch currently as Nintendo's 1st party offerings have been incredible this year in quality and volume.
I'm not saying there is damages I'm saying that they have broken a contract and are completely in the wrong. a sub-par game doesn't change law. These lawsuits rarely go anywhere but every company does them, not just Nintendo, so it has nothing to do with the pokemon franchise or Nintendo being petty.
For any game company it's such a shitty feeling to have surprises and new features leaked ahead of time, it's why so many go after the leakers who usually break an NDA. In this case it sounds like people who were processing/making the strategy guide leaked it, which I imagine is a massive breach of contract.
If you sign an NDA or contract and break it you have every right to be sued.
Launching the same day as overwatch did it no favours, it was quite fun when I played it at launch
Could have just released the HD collection but decided to nickle and dime switch players
It's certainly up there, fantastic series that gave us games like Bloodborne and Code Vein
The games have become secondary to all the other types of merchandise they have nowadays which probably explains the lack of change in the game, as for the first 4 generations they were doing some really cool stuff with the franchise, now it feels like a company rushing to come up with a new battle gimmick every entry.
The DS pokemon games in general are my favourites (platinum specifically) which is why I hope they put the same amount of effort into the 4th gen remakes th...
I'll never understand why publications get someone who obviously wont enjoy the game to review said game. I thought the whole appeal over Shenmue was that it was for the fans of the first 2 who like the gameplay and story, so why do they need to innovate anything and potentially alienate their core audience?
You need context with a review of a game like this. It's like reviewing an indie game with a 16-bit graphic style and docking it points for saying the graphics ...
@manabyte77
For IPs Nintendo don't own or didn't help fund yeah but the case with persona is different, considering the 3DS got a lot of persona which sold well and to my knowledge Sony didn't fund persona 5 in any way (feel free to correct me, I'm just assuming). It wouldn't surprise me to see it show up on switch considering how fast that install base is growing worldwide
I think they will at least for switch, even if its after the ps5 comes out. That install base in Japan is going to get too big to ignore
Microsoft I don't see much point unless Microsoft paid, as its not a good market for those types of games
That's the thing though, I have no idea how they'd make it revolutionary, this gen it feels like we've had everything done to some extent
6 Million and 700k switch systems as well in under a week is just insane. Regardless of what you think of the game Nintendo has learnt a lot since the Wii U with what to release and how to market it
Every Sony console has been incredible to play on and I have so many great memories growing up with the PS2. Always putting the core gamer first and always giving us memorable experiences. I haven't missed out buying one and the PS5 will be no different
