Actually hadn't considered this as a game that's really big in japan. You learn something new every day...
Great. If you're gonna buy it purely on that principle then you're bonkers. That's a pretty expensive PS3 controller.
Black ops is freaking terrible for that. Every cod game has bad waiting times and connections for lobbies on release. It's a mistake they've never really learned from. They know about a million people are gonna hit their server all at once at around 00:30 on launch day yet the lobbies are still awful by christmas.
Edit @HeavenlySnipes Sorry, meant bad waiting times if you're in a party. Then miraculously losing party members when you get into a game.
Yeah, I know. I did like the crystals in the earlier games but... They are getting a little bit old.
Then again, a good story centred around crystals is better than no story.
Crystals again? That's original.
I have to say though, if there's one thing square has ALWAYS done well, it's the graphics.
I never played 1, but I really liked 2 when I finally got to play it when it came out for the PS3 earlier this year.
It does appear that bioware games are getting more actiony, but that's because of EA. They care about sales. Brass tax. They know action sells, and fair play to them. I'm more interested in the story, anyway.
Is fifa as fun as pro evolution soccer. Nope. It's extremely boring now. Pro at least sacrifices a bit of realism for fun.
I was glad in pro evo 2009 where you could have 6-5 as a scoreline near enough every match because it made the game enjoyable. In fifa it's always deadlocked until someone gets a player sent off. It is just freaking impossible to score in that game.
And they come out every year spouting the same nonsense about a new, more "dy...
It's easy enough to just make another PSN account, but yeah, they need it so I don't lose all my trophies. If you look at my PSN it's as though I only bought a PS3 a year ago because all the trophies are all from recent games.
But it doesn't show my plat for uncharted 1 and 2 and for infamous and burnout paradise.
All I did was remove the numbers and put in dashes for originality. Pointless, on my part, really. But I didn't want numbers in...
I didn't like either of those games. So.. this won't be to my taste, I don't think. Giving it a miss, I think. Don't know, I might check it out if there's a demo.
Then sony, tell me, are we getting an infamous 3? Sucker punch are just leaving us hanging now. Just announce it and set our minds at ease.
That's a lot of detail
It'll be a presentation on how much they've fixed FFXIV for the PS3 version.
I get it's a rap and you can't put every game in but where's dark souls?
I'm already anticipating that as my game of the year. Skyrim and uncharted 3 could come close but there's nothing else out there at the moment that provides the same sort of experience demon's souls brought.
It is a shame it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Wait until it drops though. It's gonna blow every RPG released this year out of the park. A...
I don't think the 3DS has really failed (I am a believer of the theory that the 3DS is a lot cheaper to make than what it first appeared) But 3D was never really a big selling point for me.
I just wanted the nintendo games. The marios, the pokemons, the zeldas. So in a way, I do think 3D gaming was dead before it was even really alive. 3D films in the cinema are spot on, but for games, nah. Don't fancy it.
Well, it's got me. The minute the price drops I'm getting one.
I agree with 3, 6 and 7.
However, I think the game should be totally different.
Imagine it in a 3D world and running around and everything is to scale and the camera is from an over the shoulder perspective.
Make the battles have nice 3D animations in real space. ie. not little circles at the pokemons feet.
I realise that if they did make these changes the game would take about 3 years to make, but it'd be awesome.
Yeah the gta and the need for speed ones would be nice. Most wanted was an incredible game.
I'd also say timesplitters 1 and 2? With online multiplayer?
Yeah they really need to let you build a deck from scratch. Even if they only give you the cards in the game... I'd still like to mix and match the decks.
FPS players = Dumb?
Writer = asshole.
I mean, I get the point being made, but that's not the way you put it across. No etiquette. Nada.
I like a generic military shooter. But that doesn't mean I want more of them. One or two per year is fine because I want to play different games. Some RPGs. Some action games.
So why should developers keep dumbing-down games? People like variety more than anything. I know. I'm a ...
PS4 is looking to have a pretty good launch line-up from where I'm standing.
