It's a game based on it's multiplayer, why would it have a singleplayer? Besides, the singleplayer for most multiplayer based games isn't any good. Also, you can get the lootboxes easily enough without paying and, unlike most games with lootcrates, don't have to buy keys to open them.
They are indeed masters of their craft but they are not fleecers. I've gotten way more gametime out of it than most singleplayer games in my steam library.

You really think Overwatch is the cause of the lootbox plague?
Its fun. You can easily play it with only the default purchase and no microtransactions. Hitboxes could be better and they are working on better balancing them. I don't see how adding content like skins and sprays which you can get without paying shouldn't be praised. I just think you're an overly biased person and are just looking for reasons to hate it.

I have yet to see anyone in public using a vita. I've seen more people playing on psp's in public than I've ever seen vitas. Even after the vita was released, I've still seen more PSP users. I've seen plenty of people using 3DS's and it's variations. While the vita may not be a technologically inferior product, overall it is and inferior product due to less userbase, less support, less games, and many other factors, many of which are related to poor sales. So sales...
The only one I'd agree with would be Diablo. Purely because it would be interesting to see their attempts to turn such a dark game into a humorous one.
It could easily still be due to difficulties on the system. Saying it has "nothing" to do with the switch is probably a lie but reducing the workload by removing a console, that is possibly causing developmental problems, is a good idea. They can still reasonably cancel it on the Wii U since they will still be putting it on Nintendo's new platform.

It's simple. People cheat in multiplayer games because they are weak and have no willpower.
