Mostly ive used the gamepad only for playing from that screen when im sitting on a computer and not in front of the tv. All the map/options/inventory uses for the gamepad is neat idea but really doesnt work that well. Yes its easy to use and organize, but its just slow and awkward. Its like texting on a smartphone while driving bicycle whitout hands...slow, distracting and it might get you killed :D
I really think Nintendo would do better as just game developer. The 3rd party...
Theres two things that Sony hasnt improved at all: psn store speed/stability and regular console updates.
@randomass171 Yeah Bayonetta 2 is going to be big but i dont see it from Devils third, also i dont see any new devs jumping in to wiiu since the release and i dont think that these two will stay on Nintendo after these games. Theres bigger fishes to fry.
Yeah admit to that it has great exclusives, but the console aint selling that good and most of the ppl just think that wiiu is a another wii or a mario/zelda machine...which it is.
On the Wii i have about 10 games, wiiu 4 games, ps3 games 43. If i only had Nintendo console i would be bored out of my mind of the most part. Yes Mario Galaxy and Xenoblade where one of the best games on last generation, but 2-3 games per year aint enough man.
Bought by nintendo would hurt the most! why? well the simple fact that most of capcom loyals are on xbox/ps, they already bought SF4 four times allready (and their other fighting games etc). making them buy a separate console to play SF5 would be a hard hard sale.

Not sure if internets has matured or xbox fans just realized this or what? but i didnt see this kind of articles when ps3 was 2mil behind in total sales compared to xbox360. Even in its last years "ps3 lost"...like wtf. There are no real losers and winners when they sell well in its lifecycle.
imo games like Gears, Halo, Uncharted, Twisted Metal Black, God of war are way too overrated. Really bland and mediocre games imo.
As for souls games, i think that they are one the best games. When you play carefully and plan ahead + learn the enemy fighting pattern they arent that hard. Also the game does rarely take cheap hits/kills on you, most of the deaths are because the player wasnt aware of his surroundings or took a bit too large bite etc.
A little bit too short and informative review, but i understand why he didnt like it. I respect his opinnion, everybody doesnt like Souls games.
As for me Souls games are one of the best games ive ever played.
My best guess: they made that demo just to showcase the game what they tought it would look like but down in the line of making the game for multiple platforms jadajada they realised that they cant deliver that same quality so they lowered the dem graphics/physics to make it run more smoothly. also ubi has never gone extra lengths on the pc ports so thats why it doesnt look as good as on the stage demo.

Ubisoft never bothers too much to make the pc versions fully optimized or bug free. Maybe only ubi game that had no optimization issues or lot of bugs was FC3, eventough the MP that none played was broken as hell.
EDIT: Oh yeah and the new SC...tough that had some mp issues too, couldnt play co-op with my friends for months. eventually they patched it.
Adding on to what @patsrule316 said. Xbox one is sold by walmart, gamestop and bestbuy etc. Also about 80-90% of games are sold by these companies. this is why they just cant compete with steam prices on xboxlive or psn, because if you would they just wouldnt sell your system in their stores. Steam never had this kind of problem, so comparing them like that is like "comparing apples and oranges" per se.

Tried to play this game early in the morning, very very long loading times and after tutorial couldnt do anything. Just gave me random errors when i tried to connect to a fight.
I wouldnt call this game a cell phone game, it aint full fledged game but its a very good downloadable game with a low price. Yes this game is beatable in 4-5h but it has great variety and easily has replay value. Main game is 20$ and it has sp, mp and editor + free updates to fleshout mp and editor even more which is a great for its price if you really think about it. The extra 20$ is for the DLC season (pass 6x dlc packets).

Yeah lets revisit this when you have played 30-40h and i think you have used pheonix downs and died already. Also challenging dark aeons and monsters in arena are quite hard. for example one of the first monsters in arena called kotos does 15k dmg and has 400k hp.
Direct proof that MS released this console way too early than what they were originally planning. But 2x the power? Well ill believe it when i see it. Games on Xbox one hasnt been so promising on performance side than what people hoped for, i believe DX12 will help...but 2x...eh? Well see.
I would rather compare framerate vs 1080p than gameplay because the gameplay is always the same...no matter what the resolution is. ofc ppl would rather choose 30fps/1080p game than 30fps/720p or 60fps/1080p than 60fps/720p and why wouldnt you if you had the option to choose?
For example BF4 i would rather choose ps4 900p/60fps instead x1 720p/60fps if i had that choice.
On thief i would choose x1 900p/30fps instead of ps4 1080p/choppy 30fps.
Ok how about first adding high end HD textures before adding some 4K resolution? These textures are a joke on pc!
