Those are very good games you just listed. I would buy the new xbox just for those three games alone. Gears, Halo, and Forza are franchise game for the xbox as God of war, gran turismo, and Little big planet as to Sony.
Sony seems to have a handle on 1st party games and new IPs. It will be interesting to see what 3rd parties have in store for the PS4. Microsoft need to bring their known franchise games and new IPs.
The last I checked, they show mainly software during the meeting. What the hell were you watching? were you too busy playing angry bird on your Ipad?
Most of the demo seems to have graphics of game play that you usually see in CG. To me this is very impressive. Once developers start understanding the potential of next gen, we will be comparing PS4 games to PS3 games and it will look totally different.

Well developers for Free to play games have to make money some how. If they dont charge you for little things to help improve your experience then they would go out of business. Free to play is give you the choice to purchase item. The items are not forced down your throat.
Maybe if you carefully read what Sony said then you wouldn't come off as a dumbass. Sony never once said they will reveal the console. Its was the journalist of different site that said that with all their articles. Sony only say they are having a meeting in 2/20/2013 to announce the future of the playstation. That's what they did. How would this work with 10 discs. The game is an open world... If you go back to a different city do you reload a disc? Unless mandatory install.
Do you have a Nintendo 3DS??? if you do and you're impress with that then there's no point in convincing you. But if you dont, then compare the graphics and potential of the Vita to any handheld console on the market and it might change how you think of the VIta. I was not impress when i first saw it. It looke like a damn PSP with two analog sticks, but once i played gravity rush and uncharted I thought i was playing a PS3 games in its early days.
The problem developers will be facing is that they have to make multiplatform games meaning the games must be playable on all next gen consoles. 3rd party developers won't able to use the Levis to its full potential.

How bout you trying to say what you said 6 months after the PS4 and Xbox 720 comes out. You then realized that Uniqueness and new ideas will sell a lot of consoles but in the long run the Wii U owners will be left wanting the AAA games that are on the PS4 and xbox 720. Because the Wii U cant handle some of the game that will be made for these "next Gen" console.

you need to remember something. Cost wont be much of an issue with the PS4 or the nextbox why? because in technology standards... what we will be seeing in the Next gen will be old tech. Old tech means the cost will be dramatically lower then if they were using new technology. You look at current gaming PC, they have the most high end and up to date technology and the cost of a gaming PC is near $1000. Next gen sony and microsoft is doing the smart move and doing a low production cost console...

I think its not the console that is expensive. I think its the tablet that came with it. I remember Nintendo mentioning that it cost about $230 just for the tablet.

Agree with what you saying and you show the facts. But one thing you need to remember is, hardware will determine the longevity of that console. For example the Wii and possibly the Wii U. Wii sold more then any console this gen, but look at it now? PS3 and Xbox 360 are still selling world wide while the wii is stagnant.
