I have no doubt Oculus Rift might be better, but what you're telling me according to your statement is that there are ton of people out there right now who can play 4K on their computer? You do realize that there is only a very very small percent of computer owners who can actually play 4K on their computer right?
I'm so freakin lost! I don't want to give up on this game due to frustration. I waited so long for this game that I dont want to give up on it. Taking a break. When I come back from a Halloween party I might star it up again. If I'm still sober.
I dont know about you guys, but the xbo selling a little over 6.3 million consoles in just little over a year is very impressive to me. I wouldnt say the xbo is failing, i would just say the xbo is not doing as well as the PS4.
The Ps4 sales number in a little over a year is just mind boggling.
I thought Sony is about to release the PS4 in China. I wonder if this would make a huge impact on PS4 sales this holiday. WHne the xbox one launched in china, it sold almost 100,000 units.

No Sales dont matter to gamers. But it matters to developers. Let me ask you a question, why most developers flock to Nintendo handheld console the 3DS? Because its sells better than the Vita. I've noticed a little lag but so far nothing terrible. I have 100 mbps internet connection but i think it also depends on the other person as well. So far the people that i have able to share with (about 23 people, because that are the total number of my friend list that knows about this feature :S) only one have shown a very slight lag that lasted about 10 seconds.
I did the same thing. I've been contacting people who are on my friend list and trying out games that i havent owned yet. This is an incredible feature that Sony brought upon us. Now only if we can share play using our Vita too. that will be awesome.

When it comes to software sales, PS4 have won in every multiplats in terms of sales.
When it comes to exclusives (count indies) Sony has won as well.
Even with them mighty "TitanFall", the ps4 have outsold the xbo. Even with the Xbox One price drop, the PS4 outsold xbox one. ...

Does it sounds like I care how emulation works? Let me spell it out to you. People who hack their consoles did not hack it for backward compatibility or emulation. The majority hack it to play pirated games. Get it. I know how emulation works and I do not care for it. I have most of the systems ever came out. I have not touched those games in years and maybe decades. Why would I play them now on a ps4 that can emulate them?

Sure, let's justify a hack so that we all can play old ps1, ps2, and ps3 games on the ps4. Because we all know why people hack their system, it's not for backward compatibility. If you don't want a restrictive device then go invest in a super computer. It will allow you to emulate whatever you want. Why wait for the hassle of a jail break that would keep getting patched? Makes no damn sense to me.

Yes this pc is bc with older games but what happen when you want to play a new game? Do you shell out more money to upgrade this $550 bc pc so it could be forward compatible?
With the ps4 xone, no need to upgrade your console to play new games, it's will be optimized for you.

I some what agree with you, but when you try to launch an unknown, unproven IP on a new console. Its a very big gamble. You have to understand that ND is not only trying to sell their games, but they are also trying to sell consoles (Ps4). Its going to be hard to convince people to buy a new console just to play an unknown IP.
You will have a better chance of success if you release a sequel to a proven franchise with millions of fans on a new console. You have higher chance of success...
How come no one have asked Halo, gears of war, god of war, super mario bros, etc... to stop? Developers need to make money and the best way to make money is to release a sequel to a very popular franchise. This is what ND and other developers are doing. But at the same time they are also releasing new IP that may or may not do so well. Which is a very big expensive gamble. Therefore, they need games like uncharted, halo, etc to anchor them.
