Actually Micorsoft didnt extend the warranty until they openly admitted that the issue was huge. By that time some people have already bought their second console. The actual number of people who bought their second console is unknown though.

YLOD did existed but it wasnt as big as the RROD. the xbox 360 had a reported RROD rate of 33-34% where as the PS3 was reportedly at 5-6%. I cross checked most sites and most reported similar numbers.

True, but you're forgetting something, if you don't have strong 3rd party support you will force the fan base to go to another console to get their fix. Fans will soon be tired of Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon games. The wii u is a great example of this. As much as I love Nintendo games I stop playing my wii u. I bought the wii u because my wife and I love Mario kart, but as of now we've moved on and for us, wii u have nothing to offer us.
Ff8 had similar graphics compared to ff10. The characters were not blocky like ff7. So making ff7 was the better choice.

Biggest twist in gaming history, Joel doesn't die but Ellie was killed by tommy. Tommy wanted to take her blood to make an antidote. Joel hunts down tommy and kill him but at the same time get turned and forever walk the planet as a clicker.
You guys are forgetting that even though Xbox division is under the Microsoft umbrella it doesnt mean that they have the same budget as other Microsoft division. Each microsoft own division will have a their own budget. So no you can not go buying every single IP out there.
I gave up FPS shooter for 5 years but when i heard about Destiny, i thought it would be interesting to play a FPS combined with MMORPG and how it would work. But sadly the lack of content and the grinding pretty much made me cringe on trying any other MMORPGs

Pretty much all the loyal players got kicked in the sack. The problem with games like Destiny is, if you wait a year for the price or the GOTY edition to come out, you might be way behind.
Im not disappointed in the pricing and nickle and dime the players. What really disappointed me the most is how they initially have the audacity to ask the dedicate players who own the game and both expansions to re-buy the entire game and expansion to get those "special" items. The collector's edition should come with something physical that shouldnt affect the game.
The saltiness in this one is strong. The only thing you have locked down is 10months of nothingness. It's funny how the holiday almost here and guys like you start raising your banner claiming victory when in reality youve been in the basement hibernating.
