The Killzone franchise is well established. Killzone 1 and Killzone Liberation preceded KZ2. You act as if it's the first game in the series, and yet even the ones prior to it weren't half bad games. They were quite good, especially Liberation. Sales don't mean crap anyways. I played both Cod4 and WaW, and I have to say that although WaW is intense, its single player mode is pure garbage next to Cod4s. Zombies are its only saving grace.

Stat Boosting is rampant on games like Halo 3 and Cod 4. Boosters are people who get good on one account and then create a new account so they can play against NOOBS and achieve even better stats because beating noobs is easy.
It has kind of turned me off of Halo 3 because my friend is a great player and not a booster and I'm just okay, so every time I play with him in my team we encounter boosters on the opposing side who have a high rank but low experience level or much fewer ...

Althought KZ2 is without a doubt the best looking game on consoles and the most technically advanced game on consoles, it did not match the 2005 CG trailer on a 1 to 1 ratio. Not even close. The explosions in the trailer and the particle effects were not matched at all. The smoke effects in the game dissipated too quickly and the fire effects were slightly duller, and the game was overall much darker in most areas than the CG trailer to downgrade some of the textures.
