100% correct. I had the same thing. It is disappointing at first purely because the whole tutorial hold your hand thing lasts too long. Once it opens up more it's great. I like the game quite a bit. I imported the Japanese version and the English collectors edition should have turned up today but I guess the post is slow. It'll be here tomorrow... =.= well it better be.
