how can you know it's an improvement? Have you played it?
lol I doubt the devs care... they are quite obviously making this so they can go "LOL". Essentially, I think they are just dicking around... no pun intended.
For me I definately think RDR is better. It's a breath of fresh air to have a game set in the wild west in todays market which is overly saturated with modern shooters, futuristic shooters and other open world games set in modern day.
The biggest thing for me though is that this feels like a current gen "Gun" which was easily one of my favourite games last gen :)

I'm more worried about Agent... hopefully they'll have a nicely optimised RAGE engine for that which they can then use alongside the current one for easily done ports of future games, assuming they don't want to lead on PS3 from then on.
Well I have the PS3 version pre-ordered (not out until tomorrow here in the UK) and looking at these screens there is only one thing that bothers me... it's kinda pathetic though heh. What bothers me is that there's less grass... I know, I can't really figure it out either, I just think it doesn't look quite right. Regardless I'm sure I really won't care in the slightest when playing it. The reason I went for the PS3 version is simple, nobody on my 360 friendlist is ge...

Sorry but, no... this most likely won't be game of the year... we all know what's in the pipeline and we all know what to expect from E3. As I said to someone who declared this GOTY (BEFORE IT WAS EVEN F*CKING RELEASED (idiot)) in a different article, you can bet that the GOTY won't be released until the end of this year, as was the case last year with Uncharted 2.

I guess I'll use the magazine I got about a year or so ago since that's where I first learned about this game, because I have been shit-my-pants excited since then (I REALLY loved Gun on the PS2... played that game to death, and this is like next gen gun to me) to represent my tarnished experience. couldn't agree more... I'm a playstation fan and even I think that has to be one of the dumbest things I've read on this site.

Don't go and watch the launch trailer on the official rockstar channel on youtube because there is a bunch of idiots spoiling the ending... they just wrecked it for me.
EDIT: you'd think that since every video or stream that goes online is swiftly blocked by take 2 they could at least find the time to moderate the comments on their own damn channel... apparently banning free advertisement is more important than the plot... go figure.

Take 2 really need to get the sticks out of their asses and stop pulling anything to do with RDR from youtube. As I understand it this is a damn trailer from them not the ending to the game or something of the sort. Guess I better mosey on over to their site and have a look see.

I wish people would stop declaring stuff GOTY... we all know there's a while left yet. We also know all the good games will be released towards the end of the year (eg last year UC2, which was GOTY 09).
I couldn't care less. There's an app on my android that lets me read whatever I want so if they want to say (stupid) stuff like this then they can go ahead. All they're doing is getting me to spend my money elsewhere.
Well you see the problem there is what you just said would make too much sense. That's how these things work, you take logic completely out of the equation.
You know what the sad thing is? You can't even buy 2 official xbox wireless adapters for that.
