I feel like Hawken set a standard for mech gameplay. I just didnt get the same warm fuzzy watching this. Fusing the 2 genres together is a great idea (first person shooter and Mechs) but I think you would need to nail both parts instead of 50/50. It would have to be Battlefield and Hawken combined. This looks like Cod and Armored Core. I will reserve further judgment until I play it.

Spoiler alert!!! I agree. The first 2 hours are some of the scariest moments in a game I have a played.. But then you kind of understand the mechanics. Wherever the guy burst thru a door at is where you have to go. Just sprint passed him. Lost all its magic for me when I figured that out.
I liked it but it definitely needed more variety. Don't get me wrong. If you want the jumps and scares they were there but come on now... Get this key... Wait no.. Now you need that Key.... Almost there... Twist this valve... Hoooold up!!!! Now this valve!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!! I felt like I was clicking on door 430 from Stanley's Parable. It got a little tiresome. 3.5 is a good score for a good game.

A "Greatest Hits" Call of Duty. Might be time for me to pick it up. I have not bought one since MW2. I don't like the way they addressed the difference in resolution between the XBox One and the PS4. I think it is a little more of a serious issue that warrants more than a cheap-shot, but a more thorough explanation.
Grand theft auto is based off of crimes that people have already committed and do everyday. Dont blame a video game that is based off of real life crimes and criminals. These crimes were being done before this game was released.
Lets blame the war on Call of Duty and Battlefield next while we are at it. Tell the president to stop playing those games.

Your comparison is flawed. Streaming HD movies.. Im paying $60 for this game. It better run the same as everyone else. A good comparison to that would be PC gamers. The only difference there is you can order the parts you need to run your game at higher settings. If you are stuck in a place with bad internet then you are stuck. Shouldnt punish the owner for where they live.
Cory... Its not just about someone having $60 to buy a game... Its also about someone who has completed a game and wants to sell it.
Or people might have learned their lesson. I bought a WII and besides Monster Hunter it collected dust. I am not saying its a bad console. However I did learn it is just not for me.
I wouldnt let the lack of trophies deter me from playing one of the best final fantasies in HD. I guess that's just me. I would like to see wifi blitzball tho. That would be nice.
