...As long as people think that there will be an upcoming price drop, they won't buy a PS3. That's why MS keeps repeating every 3 months or so that there will be one. After all, they have nothing to lose if proved wrong, but they benefit by lowering Sony's sales of systems and games. It's a shame, but it works.
