Titanfall only runs on modified version of Source Engine, what do you expect? Source Engine is an old engine that constantly updated since 2004. Do you expect it will be on par with Killzone?

Specs doesn't really matter, it's a console games. It will last only 5-7 years cycle, or less.
If the system specs that we're looking for, why don't we buy a PC? we can easily bested the PS4/X1 specs with an extra $100-$400... and it will become much, much cheaper in 2 years later

It's just my opinion though, honestly I'm fine with the price. Kinect 1 cost $149 at launch, so I think $499 it's a reasonable price for a device more superior than its predecessor.
It's not the only Kinect family-games on X1. There's still a lot of 1st party MS studio who makes Kinect games. There's a Good Science Studio and Kids Lifestyle Entertainment too who makes Kinect Adventure and Kinect Fitness games.
