Sounds like? You obviously have not experienced the joy of throwing a rock off of a bridge into a circle of oddly place other rocks and seeing a Korok pop out. The entire world is filled with these awesome little puzzles that are completely optional but just dope every time you find one. It's the best
People talk a lot about the aesthetics of BotW, and for good reason. But what people who haven't played the game don't understand about why it's gotten the reception it has is that it's not a nice color palette that brings Hyrule to life. It's really about world-building. There's almost no wasted space, no boring uninteresting locations or even NPC interactions. That's not something you can throw together on a short timeframe, even if you get the "look" d...
Lol that's a hard yes.
Lol if this shit sells out...
Uhhh...install base though? How is that a valid comparison?
Easily over 1m. The real test is if they can get 2m by the end of April when Mario Kart comes out. Here's hoping!
Probably not, but it'll affect its standing during awards season next year. HZD could win some "Best New IP" categories (though we've still got a lot of year left), but it'll get trounced in any category where it goes up against BotW. Kind of unfortunate, since it's a really good effort by a top-notch studio.
You can golf your best game, but if Tiger shows up on the course there's really nothing you can do about it.
My brother wanted a system that played games AND 4K Blu Rays. Sure, as a game console PS4 is better, but as far as multimedia's concerned I couldn't argue with him.
This is hype management. They're strategically controlling the news cycle, it's not rocket science or some conspiracy to "hide specs" .
Was kind of surprised the guy actually grilled him. Reggie's a real one for saying "Let us worry about our financials, you just worry about Ganon and Bowser" . But he was totally in PR mode.
Someone mentioned how Capcom could use this in the inevitable Monster Hunter for Switch...imagine the different sensations of hitting different monster parts, or scales vs flesh...hnnggg.
Lol wtf are these articles even about? If the Wii U hasn't sold another 300k systems in the next 2 decades, then we can talk about the Dreamcast outselling it, I guess.
Now y'all knew that game didn't sell no damn 10 million copies lmao foh
I think one thing the gaming community as a whole needs to internalize is that review scores are not the final word on any product, nor are sales numbers. If something seems like it might be fun to you, try it out, fuck it if somebody else doesn't like it.
Don't forget about Xenoblade Chronicles X!
I mean, I like Sony more so than Microsoft but it's barely been two years here. This gen's got like five more to go at least. There's no need to claim a winner this soon.
For about a week afterwards when I'd get on my PS3 to play an FPS, I'd try to aim by tilting the controller. Sony really should've put more into developing sixaxis, but yeah, at any rate gyro controls are goddamn fantastic and the Wii U could've really set a standard had more people supported it
Kind of a bad article, but just taking the title into consideration I don't see anything questionable here. The Wii U did not sell very well, sure. That doesn't mean that Nintendo isn't doing well, or that they haven't done well throughout this generation.
They've released stellar games, performed extremely well in a handheld market people were swearing up and down was going to collapse at the advent of mobile gaming, and released an uncontroversially succ...
Well, I mean that was kind of the point wasn't it? Without it you just have an okay game about zombies with sort-of permadeath.
If people buy it this way then sure, more power to them. But I think people were more lenient with the game upon release because they appreciated what it was trying to do, rather than it being a good zombie survival game. Could be wrong though
Lol this is as wrong as when Chris Carter gave A Link Between Worlds like a 7.5 or something
