They need to focus on the CELL to learn using it just like 1st party guys did.
I how ever do not expect them to do that since it is not their job and they should take the fastest and easiest way, after all they want to make a game as good as possible and as easy as possible.

FFVII was a PSone game.
If they want to make a remake they should in other word make the game from scratch when it comes to visuals.
which is a good thing and all to have a FFx above kind of graphic but takes lots of time and man power.

we will soon enter 2012.

Even though SONY and Microsoft as well as Nintendo (with Wii) are insisting on keeping this gen alive and make the cycle longer than 5 years (which is a good thing) we are still past this generation and late for the Party.
in fact with PSvita and WiiU we will enter the 8th generation like it or not.
