well, you know what is good with countries like Iran in present days, and Britain and Europe in 400, 500 years ago?
Since they were/are countries with lots of influence from religion on laws, people ended up less religious at the end.
while a country like USA with a government that was for separation of church and state, ended up with being full of crazy religious people.
I can easily promise you, you will find less religious people in Iran than USA.
