I wonder how much of the content was cut from the game and turned into DLC.
Maybe if they had released the game with all of the content instead of releasing something barebones and then releasing some of the cut content as DLC, it would have been a better game.
If only they spent more time on the game and included some more content, more multiplayer modes, an OFFLINE mode, better level designs (they're all so big...and empty....and have so many invisible walls), and a better story. Destiny has stellar gameplay, but it feels like they purposely took out content to fine tune or (or w/e), just to sell it back to us. Though it backfired because it just made Destiny seem like a bare-bones game and now it's getting bad reviews for it.
They were outdated the moment they were announced. There is no way for consoles to keep up with PCs if companies want to keep them affordable. However, I couldn't care less. The console exclusives are what keep me hooked and I enjoy them.
If Destiny had competent writers and about 40 mins worth of high quality cut-scenes (like the intro), then it would have been a much better experience, imo. There are other problems, sure, but the terrible story presentation just feels pathetic coming from the same people that created the Halo series. Something else this game could have benefited from is to make the hub world more lively...that place just seems like a big ass interactive menu.
For me, whether it's worth it or not will depend how good the effect is and how much support it gets from game developers.

I really wish developers would use Kickstarter (or something like it) to figure out whether they should develop a game or not. Once they hit a certain goal, they could go on with localizing the game and send out copies for the supporters that paid x amount of money. This way they're guaranteed a profit from the start and don't have to worry.

Most likely sales. I love the Vita, but unfortunately, it seems like games don't sell too well on there.
FFXIII may not have lived up to your expectations, , but it clearly did something better than Chrono Trigger to make SE want to make two sequels.
Because it most likely made them more of a profit than Chrono Trigger did.
Maybe they'll announce that they are developing an exclusive game for the Vita. That would certainly be a huge shock.

As long as I can understand what's going on acme can enjoy myself, I don't care if it's dubbed or just subbed. While I would prefer English dubs, I won't complain.

I'm just joking around. I really like the first two games and hope the third is even better. It's just upseting that companies delivering half finished games is becoming a tend.
