I think you're missing the point. Sony isn't releasing PS4 Pro only versions of game discs because they're not trying to split the PS4/Pro playerbase. Plus, do you really expect Sony to reprint games like Uncharted 4 and The Last of Us Remastered just for a patch?

The PS4 Pro is a GAMES console that's designed to be able to play PS4 games (the same discs work on original PS4's) with higher specs. If the PS4 Pro was getting exclusive games (which Sony has denied) then I'd see a point but it's not. The PS4 Pro isn't an All-in-One entertainment machine, it's a games console. I'm sure the PS5 will have a 4k Blu-Ray Drive when it comes out, if that format's not already obsolete by then and we've moved onto the next "...
