Apologize? What!? Were your feelings hurt? Did they rip you off of money you didn't give them yet? Did they not give you something that they didn't really promise to begin with. A games final graphics are not final until they ARE final. Simple as that. The game still looks amazing but people still need to complain.
Watch Dogs is FAR worse as they were actually playing the game with the super high quality graphics. You cannot compare!

Capcom, Square Enix and Konami all going the same route. I really hope other Japanese companies like Sega (Atlus) or FromSoft dont follow. That would be devastating. Level 5 are doing mobile crap too. It's not looking good out there.

It's not that the patch was that size. the download that was the "patch" re-downloaded and installed whole chunks of the game along with installing an actual patch. That's why it was so big. It wasn't just a patch. You can look that up if you don't believe me.
...and i don't understand why you need them to say it. Why does it matter? It's like you need to "win" or something.
They aren't lying to anyone because you can see the final build now before you buy it and they never explicitly said that the earlier footage was final build.
Am i the only one that knows that graphics are not final games graphics until they are shown as such. I learned that already before the 360 or PS3 were even out.

I think this is good timing. All eyes are on CDPR now so what better time to show more Cyberpunk. They already have the Witcher crowd and how could it hurt the Witcher at all if they show some Cyberpunk.
Personally, I cannot wait for Cyberpunk. I hope it turns out amazing

The problem is the complaints about the graphics are being made out to be a bigger deal than they are, also alot of people think this is a dealbreaker and not buying the game.

Who gives a f**k, You can SEE the graphics now. Look, they are right there. Hours of footage. It looks great!
People love the drama!
They would rather say "oh, see. they are ripping us off" or "told you it was too good to be true" than actually enjoy something. NO one is getting ripped off. You can not buy it if you thought it was going to look like they initially revealed and you are sore about it or cancel your pre-order.

honestly, while i haven't heard the story, i don't think the main story suffers.I think it's just opinion. The guy from Gametrailers loved the story because it was so grounded and the characters felt believable. he said he read all the Witcher books so im inclined to believe him.

Unless the reviewer at an xbox site that i saw was playing on a PS4 version, the XBox 1 version has frame rate issues too.
