When I played nier and realized one of the characters was a tranny, it didn't add or takeaway from the game. So to me sexual orientation is kind of dumb especially when it's outside of a plot device. The only thing I see coming from this for over watch is more gay fan fiction. Power to them, I don't read fan fiction anyways

Played it 30 hrs, stopped at chapter 4. Game just wasn't fun to me. Story, sidequests, car, magic, characters, and combat system just weren't for me. Maybe I'm just an FF fan who has gotten too old to like what the younger crowd finds likable today in their FF games.
No it failed bc it sucked compared to Overwatch. It's a no brainer. Both betas broke record players playing the respective betas of each. 1 was 60 fps and polished, the other was 30 fps and lacking in game play mechanics. Had nothing to do with marketing at all considering just about everyone tried both betas and knew what they'd be getting. Well there really isn't much of a story. I can understand why blizzard pushed the gay thing though. I'm in masters and surprisingly there are a lot of young kids in masters as well. If you think of it as blizzard sending subtle messages to our youth and other companies like blizzard do this, the next generation would he more accepting

Battle born failed because it and overwatch had their betas before battleborn even launched. It was clear which one was more polished and had better fleshed out personas
To my tastes it's in the wrong direction. Grinding enemies to lvl up is no longer fun as there's too much time in between mobs. The side quests are all lacking and uninspired fetch quests. The magic system is a far cry from its former glory. I dislike the action oriented combat. The most action I like is ff12 but even then it had way more of an rpg feel to it. The story to me is meh, it left me wanting.

Not a big deal. If you were at high 4000, guess what, your placements placed you right back there. Your first 5-10 matches after placement give you 40-100 SR for a win. It seems to be an oversight on blizzards part. I placed this season at 3800, but that's hardly fair for those who wanted a clean slate now that they've had 2 seasons with the game.
I'm leaning toward switch beating xbox world wide. I thought the wii and wii u were useless consoles, but if switch actually has 2-3 games at launch that are good, I'm on the switch train.

This is how I feel. I rank this above FF13 series and FF2 and that's about it. I enjoyed all the other titles in the series more including the FF mmo and tactics.
I agree with a lot of points in the article. I love FF so much and this one disappointed me so much. Graphics and Sound are great, but the combat feels clunky, camera is clumsy at times, either too close or too far. I agree the SP is great, so what does it matter about the exploit? They took their loot boxes back, no one was harmed. Yes I maintain that COD IW is an awful game and if you're just getting it for the SP, you're better off renting as you can beat it in one sitting on a weekend. Sure lots of people bought it, but it definitely wasn't for the SP or MP, it was for MW Remastered and even then the player count for Infinite Warfare combined with MW:Remastered is getting beaten merciless...
