Gaming is getting very expensive. Next generation will be even worse no matter what console you own. I predict that Sony's next console has a pay to play system from the get go. Then you have the devs charging for online play as well. I'll probably drop gaming all together at that point. The older i get, the less time i have to game anyway's so why would i pay more to play less?
It's funny how you people think Sony is any better. They're usually behind in everything besides exclusives so i wouldn't be surpised to see them charge for online play eventually. They have to take their time or lots of PS users will be fuming. Sony fucked up and they know it.

Eventually game prices will rise like everything else. What really annoys me is having to pay EA Sports to play online even if it's a small one time fee. THQ is doing the same with UFC 2010 if i remember correctly. COD is next in line for sure. Hopefully not for Black Ops!
Yeah and to charge it you have to use that short wire while playing or make sure you charge it when not in use. I hate the built in battery.

The logical reason for MS to stay in Japan is because the Xbox is still selling. Obviously not as much as MS would like but at least now MS has a console that's reliable. The new Xbox might end up moving more consoles and put them in a better position for the next generation. It's not exactly rocket science.
