After a hard days work all I want to do is sit down unwind and game!
I don't want to converse with my console and I sure as hell don't want to flail my arms around like a moron to be able to enjoy gAming.
I want to sit on my couch as static a possible and be able to do awesome stuff with the press of a button.
With this in mind, why would I want a camera forced console? Please deliberate..

atleast they were kind enough to allow the harddisk to be upgradeable. so if you want to up the ante you can do so.
i want one :) Not sure if i'm getting mine at launch or not. Depends on my financial status then. I'll either get it launch, after x-mas or when they make a ps4vita bundle.
Sony got a LOT of heat when they did that on the release of PS3. ESP with the killzone footage they claimed was real time. Which is also the reason why killzone was delayed so far back until it actually was comparable to the fake "real time" footage.
So there was no rational reason back then and they did get a lot of hate for lying. But i figure thats why they didnt do it this time around.
Maybe Sony really did take a big bite of humble pie and tri...

PS has always been my console of choice. Sony owned IP's are my kinda bag.
However Driveclub PS+ edition could be a stripped down version of the full game... and if you want all the cars and maps you have to pay an extra penny.

people have just gotten 1080p tv sets and aren't switching to 4k for atleast 4-5 years..
upscaling blurays from 1080p to 4k might be something but 1080p is fine with me.

Dude. the next xbox is running on a windows 8 based system. Custom to console but still at it's core windows.
Now windows isnt the most stable of OS' around on the market. And more importantly how long do you think it would take for hackers to circumvent online checks?
Look at what happened to sim city, had always online DRM but was still hacked and made to work offline within a week.

However we are not aware of what deal was cut with Microsoft. Contracts are very different this gen from 2 gens ago.
Also a deal was probably struck to release ME on ps. Also by bungie had become independent of Microsoft several years ago but still supported Xbox exclusively most likely due to contractual agreements etc
So we can speculate all we want but we really have no idea what the deal was for square and sony compared to ms and bung...
Afaik Sony owns the publishing rights for ffvii so even if they do remake it Xbox won't get it secondly Sony is a major shareholder at square Enix so more reason for it not to come to Xbox

why don't they make an all new one? or seriously enhance the old one with new stuff so it is like playing it all over again as new
