Why isn't anyone talking about the fact sony has publishing rights for five in NA and EU?
does the contract not apply anymore or what?
Has sony allowed SE to put it on other consoles anyone know how this kinda stuff works?
Im no lawyer but dont Sony have publishing rights for ff7 in europé and us?
So no mattor what, ff7 Cant come to xbox in those regions.. unless Sony have agreed to allow it.
No?
True true...
The PSP2 is still a great piece of hardware... with ps now support if ever a netflix type gaming premium based fee would come would make for a great deal for gamers on the go.. 4g support would likely be needed tho psp2 slim ? :)
Or the company had already announced and contracted a ps version before Microsoft purchased Mojang
I could see this bring back the something life to the arcade but not mainstream in homes yet..
What the dude above me wrote. Plus i guess they are testing the waters of the post console generation. Eventually consoles will be obsolete. If they can get streaming working they will have a pretty good headstart by then.
Paintball?
Doubt this Will be big
No he's not.
Hes someone who made a few obvious guesses spends massive time trying to search info to make educated guesses...
people should stop quoting him as newsworthy insider.
show me a real connection.
They Will remake re 1 With the same gameplay of 4-6 LOL!
Cause thats what the gamers want :p
Or atleast They sen to think :)
God that Would be so awful :p
No morpheus either then i suppose :(
because that is like steam. You purchase the rights to play X game infinitely until the service no longer can supply it.
You can re download any game in your steam purchases until steam no longer can supply it.
It would be the exact same thing but now you wouldn't even need to download it anymore... just play it.
exactly, netflix doesn't get the newest movies, it gets some decent movies down the line after all the major sales and dvd craze has worn out, and thats fine.
There are a shit load of retro games that could be put on this service for a flat subscription, and the games are running on PC servers, aren't there any loopholes that allows them to rent pc games and sega/Nintendo arcade games etc? its not actually running the games on Playstation hardware so ? :)
Wipeout hd in 3D is pretty awesome..
I want nextgen wipeout With morpheus... Sikh!
@tbone567
The playstation 3 hasn't lost sony 6 billions, are you completely off your marbles?
The Ps3
1. Won Sony the Blu-ray vs HD DVD war which royalties alone most likely was worth the hit.
2. started becoming profitable after 4 years of loss we are in year 8 now i believe? they mustve recouped a buck or 2 there.
The playstation is a revenue making part of Sony. Playstation is profitable, Its sonys TVs that are losing bill...
4-8GB is pretty common on the consumer lever i agree. But then again so is a graphics processing unit with it's own 2GB dedicated graphics memory.
The Ps4 has 8GB combined for cpu and gpu.
which for a console is plenty
probably won't be what we want it to be until ps5 with a morpheus v2. however it will most likely be entertaining as hell until then :)
uhm, you really have no idea what the playstation tv is do you? :P
The playstation Tv is the same thing as the Vita TV in japan just improved to include playstation now.
The vitaTV Got such a boom in japan and people in the west were bitter because they wanted it too. So voila. They listened..
You don't have to purchase it.. they are only giving people the option. It has nothing to do with channels or a set top box
completely forgot, that is a pretty sick feature to invite someone to play in your game that doesn't even have the game! ..
I wonder tho if it requires PS now subscription to access that feature.
i liked sony's overall just a nudge above xboxs however xboxs show felt a lot better because i expected far less from them after last years disaster.
i almost was expecting some Exec with no real gamer insight announcing something no gamers actually want as if they were announcing sliced bread.
Kind of like kazs Riiiiiiiidge Racerrr!!!!! without being funny.
But both actually had some solid content. Microsofts was shorter more to the poin...
They could implement "look" as VR... fx..
Uncharted... you climb and jump etc and nate is in your field of view but you can look around in the world as a third person fixed point that can see 360 degrees...
now that would mostly work with all games... fx the "look" button but always on..
