This is too expensive, but I love pixel art so I will almost certainly buy it anyway.
Samus Returns was amazing, but the Castlevania LoS games were pretty bad.
I will remain cautiously optimistic here. :)
Let's just be honest here:
Most of the rage against this game comes from either bigotry, Xbot jealousy, or some distasteful combination of the two.
The game was extremely well received outside of said (obnoxiously) vocal minority and the majority of us are extremely excited for a potential follow up.
I thoroughly enjoyed the second game! <3
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Like, for example, this article.
Which playstation fans are you talking about? Obviously not you given your comment history.
As an actual playstation fan I am happy to report that I give literally zero craps about E3. Sony does a stellar job with events on their own. I lose literally nothing by Sony not participating.
MS was transparent? Really?
Dude, that is one potent delusion.
Man, look at all those fake down votes. C'mon guys, it's not even subtle.
Well said. I couldn't agree more.
You are the hero we don't deserve. <3
In what reality? Certainly not this one, tiger.
I am glad their focus is on the story first and foremost.
You spelled Phil Spencer wrong.
I would love a FF6 remake in the Octopath Traveler engine.
As someone who mainly plays RPGs, I couldn't disagree more. I also largely do not care about how repayable a game is. I just want one long playthrough that keeps me hooked, IE: Persona 5 or Dragon Quest XI.
I can't believe I'm agreeing with you, but you are spot on.
Exactly. Microsoft abandoning JP games during the 360 days doesn't help either, as now many of us are distrustful of anything MS does on that front.
Though TBH, I would have enjoyed an alternate universe where MS never gave up. I would probably own a Series X in that reality. :)
I really appreciate the care that is going into paying respect to the original style. The remaster looks pretty dark at points, but it also has some lovely lighting and particle effects. I will definitely give this a spin when it releases.
That said, let's all be glad it doesn't use D3's weird cartoony look. Between this and D4, it's clear that Blizzard has learned a lesson here. (and that, to be fair, is despite D3's significant financial succes...
Falcom is love. This news is delightful.
I agree as well.
Me too! I feel like I've been ruined forever by the amazing contrast and colors.
