Why is that? Consoles are technically just dumbed down PCs. They even share games sometimes.
@Leon:
You ever seen Total Recall?

Ze goggles! Zey do nothing!
These days I'm sure developers are more worried about turning a profit than making games take full advantage of a specific system. Sure it's takes more resources but you're doubling your potential market by making it multi-platform.
Why would VALVe charge PC users for a patch? I take it the author hasn't been a customer of theirs for very long.
Multi-platform could mean PC & Xbox 360.
It would be wise, however, to release on as many platforms as possible.
Do people feel so insecure that they have to spurt out things like "zomg!*popular game here* KILLER!!! even though the other game may have already sold millions of copies but it's still DOOMED!!!"?
Honestly. Just enjoy every game that you can and do something about your complexes.
Probably has something to do with MS throwing cash around again.
3, 2, 1...
When I first played the demo a few months ago it left a bad taste in my mouth. Now that I've tried it again it has grown on me quite a bit but it still has a couple of apparent flaws in my book:
- The "stop 'n' pop" gameplay belongs in 1996. You should have the ability to creep slowly while shooting (even if it means a huge reduction in accuracy).
- There is too much action and not enough horror.
@ Foliage:
I believe the title of "butthole of the internet" belongs to 4chan.
@js_mac:
It's probably someone from the Sony Defense Force as the PS3 isn't receiving the DLC. They should really open up a new sister site called "News 4 Fanboys".
How about no and you cough up the money now.
I just called two local GameStops and both stated that they probably won't have midnight launches (but of course one of them randomly threw in that they will probably be doing one for Halo Wars).
These are Kansas City locations BTW.
