The only people who are worrying about money are the people who are submitting articles from THEIR OWN sites to N4G. They're knowingly subjecting themselves to N4G's policies the minute they decide to try and use N4G as their own personal "hit magnet".
If they don't like it then there are other news aggregates out there such as Digg, del.icio.us, or reddit. Go knock yourselves out.

No one "won" the developers conference because this isn't about the general public. GDC is about developers learning, networking, inspiring, and connecting with one another.
Save the "console wars" material for E3 which is actually directed towards the general gaming populace.
Here's the bottom line:

I personally think screen tearing is more preferable to frame rate drops but, then again, it's all about preferences.

I own the 360 version and yes their is noticeable screen tearing. It's not to the point of being obnoxiously annoying but it does happen often.
