Supposedly GamesStop's last quarter was the first one in about 5 years where the company actually lost money. This could explain why GameStop is doing another B2G1 sale so soon after the last (June 18-21).
Also, there are reports that a lot of GameStops have already started the deal due to confusion by televised ads saying the sale has started.
