Almost every local GameStop in the south Kansas City area had slims in stock. Best Buy, GameStop, Wal-Mart, and Amazon all list the slim as being in stock online as well.

There are at least a dozen gameplay videos released by Bungie/Microsoft. This is just an additional treat for the fans as well as a great promotional tool.

It's going to be a great game but I highly doubt it will garner as many GotY awards as MW2 though. Just my $.02

It's got "Halo 3" in the title. That's all the promotion the game needs.
Kind of like how Apple fanatics will flock to any new Apple product just because it has an "i" before the name.
It will likely be a great game and sell plenty but I think Modern Warfare 2 is going to steal most of the GotY awards.
It's a guy with a two-second memory span running in circles and opening the map every three seconds. Not much to spoil other than the initial drop scene.
