sadly in todays gaming lansdscape ugly games can destroy hardware look at gollum on pc its all about optimization not the way it looks.
This game on pc eat's up ram and makes gpus bleed you half to play for awhile in a single session but it builds up.
Hopefully there is no issues from the pc on the ps5 version but as you can see some of the pc issues are years old.
They should buckle down get the pc version all fixed up then worry about console ports that is my hot take.

It could have just been a nice storage bay i did that with mine i got 5 bays 1 bluray 1 media center 1 front hub the others draws you click them they pull out for storage.
Ps5 could have done that storage or swap out for a disc drive its just a sata cable with power from you...
Microsoft has alot of ips they never use but there company as a whole is so big worth over 2.5 trillion that the game sector is big money but as a whole a small chunk of there pie sadly. They do not care unlike a company that would live or die based on there game sector ideas/changes

Wow i am always one to be like ok on a digital foundry video but this just smells like either copium or a paid video.
Head to the steam community tech section every hour there is a post with low fps/crashes/save gone or pc os broken now.
Here is some threads made today with over 20replies of players going past act 2 with bad fps broken saves quest lock bugs or are now naked do too inventory wipe.

they just added the controller support this year so they may optimize that or go a dragon age one route.
In the end its a wait and see for console players on the quality of the port.
Hopefully there is and its a real disc not some 5mb file that allows you too download it off of a server.
I also hope they fix all pc performance issues along with the laundry list of bugs from minor to softlock first so ps5 gets the best version out of the gate on dic or download.
