All you half to do is look at tomb raider cod or harry potter back in the day sony paid for temp exclusivity or special dlc to help with dev cost.

ghost of tsushima was tossed out under the old sony it was made before the move to California and tossed out in 2020.
Alot in the market has happened in those 4 years but the big change was the lead writer behind ghost of tsushima left. This game has a whole new writing team.
