That is true its still a thing even the new cod people are getting the ps4 version that is why they should do a xbox deal on there you can see it says xbox 360 in bold letter and different store but there one games have the same issue.
Both companies should just have 2 icons and or storefront's to say this is the old games ps4/360/one then the new gen store front make it idiot proof.

This would defeat the point of exclusives then at least give it a year or 2 like sony does for pc or like i siad in my comment but a xbox store on playstation then a playstation store on xbox.

Microsoft has already tossed games on playstation like grounded/seas of thieves soon halo.
Perhaps sony would allow xbox to do what they wanted before and put gamepass on playstation then sony put a store on xbox. We need competition if these console are going digital there is a reason courts stepped in on mobile phones only having one store.
It would be nice if they did not increase the old versions price delisted the original from steam and pull a rockstar making this the only version you can get now except for GOG/ps4 psn? so far then the forced psn login now.

How can sony compete? they do not make the playstation 5 apu/igpu this is just software unless sony fans now think playstation owns amd and is making the ps5 chip set/apu.
Amd has 0 care about the market/competition they got all those mobile handled's using there tech and another 8 years for consoles.

You forgot killzone mercenaries on the ps vita but it was the worst selling sony game for awhile there.
You forgot the ai advancements on the playstation 2 killzone one you could have a full team of bots doing everything even playing the objective that was a big thing.
In killzone 2 they always flanked you and when available used the high ground.
Playing killzone 2 no hud 5.1 audio was/is awesome

I personally prefer spiderman one ps4 original disc peter face model version to me the original ps4 version had the best art direction and graphical look. Even mj looked better in S1

Throw xbox in my comment what i said stands valve is right about not needing a tiny change and like Rise said why toss out a new stam deck if the games are working fine on the current one.
psp got more ram with the 2000 model but no one knew because devs never used it the ps3 got more power few games used that the ps4/series got new version that few games got patches/uses out of it now again new reversions but again its up to the devs.
