I like the layout, not having to click those arrows make the site more intuitive although for someone who doesn't know what N4G is, they might think the site resembles that of a Facebook-esque article clickbait/spam site.
I also think that using white for the title backgrounds doesn't sit well with the bright background, I think it would look better if the background was a lighter shade of the gray used for the header menu.
Otherwise, looking forward ...
This year I'm thankful to have seen my mother, it's been over a year since the last time I did. I'm also thankful for an incredible woman entering my life, my career continuing and my friends leading happy lives.
When you are extremely passionate about creating things it is only natural to show off progress. Personally, I admire the teams excitement of their work and if we support them the end product will only get better.
This is actually a good point considering the fact that 3D VR games need to be rendered TWICE for each eye and then transferred/displayed on the headset. This would definitely pose a challenge but is one that I think could be overcome by Microsoft.
Still needs batteries... Sometimes I wonder...
Yeah but the fact is that more people are adopting the better hardware this generation.
Especially with a $99 price tag this is a great value. This will be the only known way to get my Vita games like Killzone, Dragons Crown etc... on my TV which I've been waiting for. With PS Now and a PS4 in my home this should be awesome. I hope it will also allow me to play Vita games multiplayer with my Vita so I can invite friends over.
I'm also a bit disappointed because that's one less reveal I thought I'd see at E3. On a positive note, if MM won't, someone else will and that's what I'll be looking forward to.
For me it was a different reason for hating... Admittedly, I enjoy Usher's music but not during what is supposed to be a megaton conference by Microsoft's largest gaming division. I don't want to see any performances.... that whole crowd is filled with a bunch of journalist/blogger nerds, it just didn't match.
Hey if you look at around 50 seconds, they use the Mortal Kombat text. That's interesting.
All PS1 games $0.99
I bet everyone who attends will walk away with a free month or year or however long subscription to PlayStation Now and they will announce that it is launched the moment of.
I agree but what this also shows (based on how incredibly fast these tickets went bye-bye) is that this can easily be expanded next time around. This was just a test I imagine. It's almost like E3 is going to become a gaming holiday where we get a bunch of surprise game announcements as well as some cool things to walk away with.
I attended their PS4 conference at GDC 2013 and walked away with a PS Vita. Maybe they will do that as well to push the product forward after announcing giant titles for it.
That would require Microsoft to do this also.
I've always enjoyed Sony conferences and they've all been relatively the same with the exception of Kevin Butler on stage (which was a glorious moment). I'm looking forward to a change, I believe that the only thing that could make this a bad presentation is bad games or a lack of them.
It makes no sense to me how Rare went from Dk Country to this.
No but some games deserve to be experienced in the best way possible. Some games are so good they are worth it. Hell, I'd buy this AND Skyrim for PS4.
It's not that people disagree with the thought of games coming to a console, it's the thought of games that they either don't know/want are coming to the console and it is seen as a justification for lack of content. personally, I agree, more games is good but I really wish both parties came more prepared this gen.
The customize functionality is great. The layout is also great. Perhaps in addition to light/dark, each section can have its own theme (PS4: Blue, Xbox: Green, Nintendo: Light Blue, etc...)
