MS, Sony, and Nintendo would LIKE for people to think that PC gaming is dead so that they can get a cut of every game sold on their platform instead of buying cheaper games on the PC without having to pay the royalty to the big three.
I haven't played it myself. However a LOT of people I know said the same thing about this game.
I'll check it out on next years Steam summer sale and see how I like it I guess.
How about "brah"? Is that racial? How about "dude"? lol @ the stupidity!
This list is bogus. Not once did it mention Kane from Command and Conquer. :)
I've been playing it on PC all morning. I think the game is good. Not mind blowingly great, but certainly a good game.
^^ This.
I remember EXPANSION packs being awesome and something I couldn't wait for. As soon as the term "DLC" became prevalent 90% of all the extra content I used to look forward to became a lazy devs way of cash grabbing.
Granted, no one is making me buy them. It would just be nice if I WANTED to buy what they are selling. You know?
Whoops is right, hhahahahaha. Someone at Techland is in trouble!
Don't care. I'm still gonna get it. Plenty of 7 out of 10 games that I have enjoyed. Especially in co-op. Thanks for the review though. I've been enjoying reading everyone's different take on this game. Seems you either love it or hate it.
I would not have even known that was Liara if someone didn't tell me. What a horrible statue.
So... no engineer class then?
EDIT - Never mind, did some digging. This is only if slightly damaged. Anything else needs an engineer.
I think it should be more like "Expansion packs vs. DLC".
Guild Wars 2, BF3, Skyrim.
^^ Yep. But lets face it- Nintendo and MS are gonna force Sony to come to market sooner rather than later. And seeing as how a lot of EA/Activision devs all have alpha hardware specs/machines to work with for the next MS console and Wii-U already officially announced that time frame is looking like the next 18 months.
Loved these games back in the day.
Well, PC and PS3 players can at least I guess.
Yes, I meant 2012, lol. Forgive me, I hadn't had my morning coffee yet.
They will be announced E3 '11 and release spring 2012 and summer 2012. Bookmark this page and come back to it April 2012.
^^ Actually, in most cases all it takes is a small differentiators from the original patent to make it to market without fear of ever being found guilty of patent infringement. However that doesn't mean you will escape being taken to court over it either. It just means chances are a judge will side with the defendant. At least here in the States.
^^ Thanks for the answer even though it was meant rhetorically. I was trying to point out that some bozo sitting in a public funded role is making decisions for everyone else when what each of us considers violent or offensive is a completely arbitrary decision and based solely on some bureaucrats opinion.
I hate attempted government censure.. ARRGGGHH!!!
More people on Steam at any given time than on console combined. I think PC gaming is alive and well and so do all the companies laughing all the way to the bank that cater to the PC gamers.
