Well I would say its a good thing that Sony plans for a 10 year lifecycle. Look at the PS2. Launched in 2000, and is still chugging along. With the PS3 though, I think Digital downloads will become popular before Blu-ray really has its long run.
I would agree. Look at some of the games that are really starting to utilize the Cell. Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Final Fantasy Versus XIII....all of which look better than any Xbox 360 game I've seen yet.
Even multiplatform games like Rage will look better on the PS3 due to Blu-ray storage.
Yeah, Wipeout HD holds promise
The new firmware makes the trophy section load much faster on the XMB
The PSU logo isnt watermarked. No worries
Ah ok. I had never seen them before...cool cool
What's your problem with PSU? PM me.
Yup, if Sony markets the title right, I think LittleBigPlanet will push hardware for the PS3.
Well but a few people have reported that the PS3 version is looking a bit smoother.
The senior producer mainly commented on the water effects being matched, not the overall graphical quality.
Dave Wales has played both the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. So he is not just making things up.
I'm definitely looking forward to Advent Children Complete on Blu-ray. Woo!! :)
1. Watching an HD video and having hands on with the game are different
2. He was comparing Pure to the original Motorstorm
hmmm. Two weeks ago they said the opposite.

I'm pretty upset. PSU is where I work, and this really hurts us in terms of trust from our readers. From reading comments, a lot of people think the PSU staff is behind it....which we aren't of course.
The page that may have contained malicious software may be somewhere located in the PSU Themes section as the themes are user uploaded. We are looking into the matter.
Hey guys, This is NoUseMerk/Justin Pinter, senior journalist at PSU.com
So...as you all know, Google has pretty much screwed us over.
A month ago PSU was hacked through the PS3forums, causing server slow downs, crashes, and the malicious software that Google has now reported us as.
We fixed the problem within a week of the hack, but Google must have scanned us during that time. As you saw, we were fine during E3...we fixed all the problems that occurred...
Looking forward to hearing and seeing more on Killzone 2
Still 9,520,000 million shares in a company is still a lot and should have some affect on decision making. Oh well, it's funny to think that Sony can still in a way profit from the game going multiplatform if it sells well on the Xbox 360.
I realize that it was SE's decision, but you talk to anyone in the industry and Sony is no the best in 3rd party relations. They could've kept the game exclusive if they wanted to by either working with SE on some marketing deal or offering money.
I mean...SONY OWNS 9% of Square Enix....how could they just let it go like that.
This was horrible news for Sony. It's not all about just having an exclusive game. Just by FFXIII going multiplatform, Sony just missed out on a few million hardware sales.
It was a real bad move by Sony to let FFXIII go.
and the FFVII PS3 rumor lives on!
It's just never going to die until SE actually announces it. lol
