like the guys have said, ATI is better bang for your buck.
i personally prefer Nvidia, though. you have PhysX in Nvidia cards.

this is the first time i've owned a Halo game. and it is awesome. plain and simple.
i've experienced a few freezes but after 5secs or so it unfroze and i got to continue the fight! =)

they re-designed the d-pad a while ago and did something like this. it was on a limited edition controller that was a lime color.

there are lots of reasons that could be the answer to your question...
shorter dev time, one team concentrating on one part making quality better, maybe one dev didn't have time to do both, etc...

Rage has a lot of development time left...
i've never been a big fan of the Halo franchise and played like 20min of Halo 3 mp with a friend so that's no excuse. i'd give the game a solid 9 at the least. i think it's amazing. but maybe that's because i'm basically new to it all.
