You know, I think it's better for a game to have no single player and have AWESOME multiplayer than to good multiplayer and wasted single player.
Interesting how the world's made of voxels- I guess "destructible terrain" really means just that.
Their business model is pretty interesting, I'm curious as to if it'll ultimately prove successful.
I definitely agree about more useful apps away from paywalls! Seriously, if I want to watch a video from IGN, I don't want to pay for a Gold subscription.
This one sounds pretty interesting; it's like Portal but with Cthulhu!
Well said! And the point of the article is that the attitude surrounding the consoles is what's bad for gaming- not the consoles themselves.
Attitude that evolutionary=revolutionary results in less innovation in games because of the idea that a game that's been evolutionarily improved is revolutionarily improved.
My thoughts exactly!
Wait.
The kid makes a stupid joke on Facebook and his bail is 500K!? Madness.
Wow. I can't believe I forgot about the VB, neat that there's an emulator for it that runs on the Rift!
Unfortunately, not at the moment. While that would be AWESOME, it would also be very difficult to implement. Every first person game would have to built with the Rift in mind, or there would need to be some sort of driver solution like Vireio.
Could it come to the PS4/X1? Yes. Will it? Probably not, unless somebody figures out how to really make it work.
NICE! I almost forgot about these guys, glad they're seeing success.
I've been considering this one, Kings Bounty looks kinda interesting.
Frankly? If somebody tried releasing broken games back before games were patchable, guess what? They would've wound up going out of business. I don't think that releasing a game that's broken is really acceptable, even though they can be fixed.
Why? Because we're paying $60 for a finished product, that's why. We're not paying for a beta.
Not sure if he'll approve my comment, but here's what I said:
Dude. This article is rife with misspellings and inaccuracies.
"PC doesn’t even have a form where you can stream the entire game to your machine instantly, pause and buy it if you like it, download the rest as you finish playing, all without stopping the fluidity of the gameplay experience."
You mean OnLive?
"With Microsoft learning from many...
Well, that's a nice surprise.
"Disney Infinity E3 2013 Promotion Cleverly Designed to Sell Games"
You don't say.
I like that idea. I have a 3DS and one of the things that drew me to it was the fact that it could play DS games. Since I never owned a DS, this was a big deal to me.
I love The Onion.
Gibeau says it's not turning into a shooter, so I have faith.
I've never really been into card-based video games aside from Faerie Solitaire, but this sounds pretty interesting.
