Meh. Personally, the game was very mediocre. I have to admit, the gunplay and the magic usage felt satisfying, the art style was pretty good, and I did have some fun on the highest difficulty.
However, that's where the pros ends. The story was shallow with barely any real conclusion (atleast there's no terrible english voice over), enviroments lacks any interactions (aside from maybe in one stage), there are only 5-6 stages in the game, enemy variety is very lacklus...
I'm glad that Sony is still supporting chinese devs, even if most of the games we recieved on the PS4 from chinese devs were average at best (Icey was good though).
And this may be just me but I really want to see Sony make their own Switch-like Playstation console. I mean, who wouldn't want to play games like Bloodborne or MH World on the go?
>"It's a great "innovative" wave shooter with few setbacks".
>4/10
Lol
Looks very interesting, and certianly the best looking game from Oasis Games. Though it still needs a bit of workaround. The enviroments looks kinda empty but neverthless, it definitely has a lot of personality. Here's hoping it does well.
I suggest that you tone down your expectations. While these certainly look very promising, esepcially Lost Soul Aside (though the devs have confirmed that the game won't be published by Sony), it all depends on how experienced the developers are. I mean, if you haven't realized, The Walker (a PSVR wave shooter) was part of the China Hero Project prgram and was released last month. Needless to say, the game wasn't really "good". Despite being funded by Sony, the game felt...
The problem with the game is that all of its flaws COULD have been forgiven IF Deeli didn't make us pay $25 on it. I could easily just get myself Uncharted 4 or Gears of War or some other game like taht. Hell, Umbrella Corps costs $5 less than Gene Rain.
And yes, I know, "just keep in mind that this game is low budget and was made by students". However, there are games out there that were made by students alone such as Piecefall (very underrated) and not only...
Oh come on, Little Witch Academia CoT isn't THAT bad. If anything, New Gundam Breaker and Agony should have been on the list.
Well, Lost Soul Aside is being funded by Sony but the devs have confirmed that the game will most likely be a timed exclusive at the moment. So even if Sony helped them to localized it, that still doesn't mean that the game is a permanent exclusive. We'll just have to wait and see.
Also, since you got to play the game, is the game any good, or is it another "style over substance" chinese game?
Surpsingly enough, Bravo Team just got a patch yesterday. Here's the link:

Kinda strange that no other sites commented on this.
Seven Deadly Sins Knights of Britannia was a huge let down for me. Thankfully, with season 3 underway, a new SDS game could still be possible. However, what's worrisome is who will be making it.
OOF. This was worse than Gundam Versus. At least in that game I wasn't forced to play through the crappy dating simulation and clunky mechanics.
I might as well throw the dice and call New Gundam Breaker the "Star Ocean 5 of 2018". Why? Because not only is inferior compared to its precessors and garnered negative/mixed reactions from western fans (plus PC gamers) but also from Japanese fans, and when that's the issue with your game, then you know it's...
I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the idol from MH Gen a bit questionable. I mean, I get that Gen was meant to be more of an anniversary gift for the MH fans but...come on. You don't see Dark Souls 3 dressing up their characters with an idol gettup and cat ears just to celebrate the finale of the Dark Souls series. Heck, even Persona 5 didn't have any idol fanservice when compared to P4.
With MHW, it's more accessible, you get right into the action rather then having to do multiple gathering and slaying quests, better graphical prowess, and having a lively ecosistem.
With MHGU, it has plenty of content even after completing the main missions, different playstyles in combat such as the use of hunting styles and hunter arts, prowler mode, and obviously being able to play it on the go.
in the end, i'm still getting MHGU for my switch...
Looking at your dislike, it seems that there is someone out there who is a fan of Double Dragon 4.
I played the game and I think the reviewer was a bit too positive towards the game. The game is all style but no substance. I like how the combos were animated but once you realize how the Ai works, some of the combos are pretty useless. I completed my entire playthrough using nothing but downward and upward attacks. The only times I used combos were in bosses.
I also found the story to be pretty generic, along with the characters. I loved the aesthetics though. I just wis...
I'm hoping that this will turn out better that Bamco's pevious flop, Seven Deadly Sins.
So ni no kuni 2 gets a 6 while this gets a 7?
Sure...
Really? Just speedrun? I mean, I should be glad that it doesn't have any big content exclusive to this port but calling a neccessity is a bit far-fetched. You can play the PS4 or PC port, and you wouldn't miss out much. Is more of an additional topping that an appetizer but oh well.
Jesus, that GoW part. Just calm down
What sucks is that this is the first Metal Max game to come to the PS4. Don't know how the heck did they messed it up.
