Yeah he's got a similar gravely voice like Sully.

Nathan Fillion is a good actor and would fit Drake very well, but...

how about Ryan Reynolds? He's got star cred, his wit and personality are quite similar to Nathan, and lets be honest he's a good looking chap.
And he can act (go see Buried if you disagree) .

(or maybe Colin Farrell? He's funny (In Bruges), and he's got both acting (Tigerland,Phonebooth,Minority Report) and action (SWAT,The Recruit,Miami Vice) credentials as well!)

E.T is the most broken game of all time. It is impossible to complete it.

EA never that were trying to make a superior PS3 version, they just made it lead dev console, to ensure that the PS3 wouldn't receive a shoddy port, well done EA.

Agent was only announced at E3 2009.

I'd hardly lump it into Vaporware, especially when the ever ultra secretive R* are working on it. If there is nothing heard from it after another 18 months, then maybe.

@VinniePaz: I have both the PS3 & the Xbox.
But I happen to think that my PS3 is the better console.

Don't get me wrong, I'd put both Alan Wake & Limbo in my top 5 favorite games this gen, but I think its hard to dispute the sheer quality of Sony's first party line-up.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a great game. The Wii is not a great console, when 95% of its software is shovelware, its a fair indicator of the overall quality of the con...

Lack of originality has plagued Xbox games, not variety.

The only truly original Xbox games I own are Alan Wake and Limbo,
both largely ignored by the majority of the Xbox community.

Games such as LittleBigPlanet and Heavy Rain (even Flower on PSN), have been commercial successes on the PS3, while (the excellent) Alan Wake tanked on the 360. MS needs a Media Molecule or Team Ico, if they want to offer their consumers a different sort of gaming experie...

The PS3 did suck for its first year,
as did the Xbox suck for its first year.

Name 3 high quality titles that came out on either console (king Kong and the Outfit spring to mind...) during its first couple of months?

Two of my mates who used to be diehard 360 fans, and have since 2009, pawned off their Xboxs and have upgraded to the PS3. Thats why you no longer see as many Xbox fanboys on N4G (and if you need a reminder check any PS3 article comments ...

Who knows and who really cares?

Maybe the vice president of EA Europe does, when 2 weeks ago he stated that he was confident that PS3 worldwide sales will surpass the Xbox.

I'm pretty sure he has better knowledge of the gaming industry and console sales, than any commentators on N4G.

Thats because most of the 360fanboys defected after the Ps3 became awesome.

Yeah i'm pretty sure Frictional Games would prefer to stay independent,go bankrupt and shut down, but retain their original fanbase, rather than be bought over by Sony, retain their jobs,be given a huge budget and artistic license to work on their future games, as well as have opportunities to work with devs such as ND & Team Ico.

Do you think MM would have survived without Sony stepping in?

I pirated this game, played it for 5 minutes, realized how awesome it was, and overcome with guilt I went onto steam and bought it.

Please baby Jesus, spare my soul, i'm not a bad guy.

M$ obviously do, who wants innovative first party games like LBP or The Last Guardian anyway, when you can buy timed-exclusive GTA4 DLC for $50 million dollars?

(Wasn't GT5's budget $60 million? hmmm which would i prefer to have?)

To the disagrees I received, please explain why?

Alone in the Dark released in 1992, was the first ever 3D survival horror game. Fact.

It had a huge influence on the original Resident evil.
Resident Evil wouldn't have even existed without AITD.

I'm a big fan of the RE series(except 5) and survival horror in general,
but the author did not give it the credit it deserves.

3 games huh? Now add these games to the 3 you've already kindly listed,

Heavy Rain, Killzone 2 & 3, Metal Gear Solid 4, Wipeout HD, LittleBigPlanet 1 & 2, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Resistance 2......need I go on?

Now please show me the games that show off the true 'potential' of the xbox, and we'll compare.

It's funny the way Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (released in 2007) still looks better than the majority of Xbox e...

The writer donates half the article to praising Resident Evils influence on survival horror genre, and only gives Alone in the Dark a fleeting reference.

Alone in the dark, is just as, if not more important to the origins of not only survival horror, but 3D gaming in general. One sentence doesn't give it justice.

The first one was a great game.
Great presentation,voice acting and story.

And the best finale (in my opinion) this gen.
