the PS3 doesn't even need the GPU that much! it uses the cell processor to process it's graphics. did you even watch the video of the development of Killzone 2 where the developer showed FIRST HAND how the cell processor did its thang?

pretty sure Microsoft and Bungie have milked the Halo series about 10x more than anything Sony and PS3 devs have ever had.
