Day 1 purchase for me.
I actually like Windows 7. I hate the Networking and having to get used to something new, but that'll fix itself.
They need to enhance XBL more (to make it worth $50/year), announce some more titles because they are lacking TERRIBLY this year, and they need to announce a new reliable console. I just don't think any of the 3 are going to happen, except for maybe XBL updates.
Why forget the PS3 Slim? It'd be a great way to give the console a new identity. I don't think slimming the 360 would help RROD too much, but what do I know.
If they:
1. Announce a price drop/PS3 Slim
2. Announce Gran Turismo 5 as a definite 2009 release
3. Announce the 3.0 firmware update
Then I will be blown completely away. Those are 3 of the biggest things in gaming I could possibly imagine.
Sign us all up please.
That "flop" is a top 3 game so far this generation. It's easily one of the most loved games I can think of. EVERYONE loves it.
I'm pretty sure they're the most hated company in the world. The only company I can imagine having a similar reputation would be AOL.
That really just hurt my feelings. I have too much respect for Little Big Planet and what an outstanding game it is, and would never imagine seeing Microsoft trying to make their product look comparable.
It really blows because Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 are looked at as very important titles for PC gaming. Oh well, at least they're only delayed.
Great article. Did they mean the console experience all around or the hardware? Because if they are going by hardware then 1 of the consoles this generation should probably be on that list.
Uncharted 2 baby.
Because they spent $145 million developing for the PlayStation 3, right?
"You can kind of see where they are coming from..."
Actually no, I don't see where they are coming from. The PS3 platform brought tremendous profits, and to drop the PS3 would be suicide.
Just noticed from Omega's profile:
"Ignored by: 145 users"
That's 100 more than I've seen with anyone else. Maybe Activision should stop supporting you.
Resistance was an outstanding game. That basically makes this article ridiculous alone.
Come on Activision, drop the PS3. I'd like to see just how much less profit you'll pull in every year.
MAG is still 2009? God that'd be great news. I'd much rather play MAG than MW2.
It's completely casual. I can't see a SINGLE hardcore game on 360 implementing the technology to a point of it being practical. It'll be cool, that's for sure, but how successful is debatable.
Is this guy trying to make people not like him? Why would he do that?
