Trophies are a lot of fun to get, but they don't ruin my life. I didn't like them for the first year, but recently got addicted.
I don't see how there can even be an argument here.
How are the browsers barely functional? I regularly check my e-mail, use chat, watch YouTube videos and even upload news to my blog/site from my Trey. How is it a novelty? Do you know how nice it is being able to watch YouTube on a big screen HD on the couch with family/friends? Sure, you can do that with a PC, but gathering around a 21" monitor is pretty awkward. Using a controller and bluetooth keyboard from the couch is much better.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii? My Staff and I played this at E3 and it wasn't very impressive to say the least. It was hard to like it at all after playing Little Big Planet.
Turn off the Xbox now!
Okay, I marked your words.
Agreed. Now, obviously it depends what the consumer is looking for, but the PS3 is now just a better product at the same price for the average consumer than the 360.
Alan Wake is near this game's level, but Mass Effect 2? Come on man. Mass Effect 2 isn't even in the contest.
Wouldn't surprise me. It looks jaw-droppingly good at E3.
Get a Slim. I have a 40GB and wish I had a Slim instead.
So 2 weeks? That'd be a bad idea for sales. There is no way this is true.
I like 3.0 but wish they did more for the community.
The Look
Arguably one of the best-looking consoles to date. I put the Trey next to the Dreamcast.
The Developers
Naughty Dog, Team ICO, Polyphony Digital, inSomniac, Santa Monica
The Community
How about an online where everyone that has a console can join for free? Voice chat, video chat, text chat, chat rooms, PlayStation Home, trophies, image sharing and a friends list. How about them apples?
The History
#1 for 2 generations....
Epicness. I expect a really awesome espionage game.
Not even close. Do you realize how much it offers? It's a full scale arcade racing game like Mario Kart, but there's a LOT more. You can customize your own racer, car, and you can also make your own tracks. The track creator looks to be incredibly dynamic and topples even the best (including Trackmania). Also, it looks to have great graphics and lovable audio comparable to Little Big Planet.
This is a full-scale game that should do remarkably well in the 2010 line-up.
David Jaffe has also stated that he works exclusively with Sony because they are great to him and his teams.
From what I've heard, Sony is great developers. That coupled with free online and a vast userbase and you have a great host for games like Little Big Planet and ModNation Racers.
3 are multi-platform. Doesn't the destroy the purpose of the list?
I prefer waiting for more content personally.
Yes...
do reviewers not finish before reviewing? I always thought that was the reviewers code.
