Microsoft paying for multiplatform games rings a bell.
Meanwhile, PS3 is getting Gran Turismo 5, God of War 3, ModNation Racers, The Last Guardian, Agent, etc. exclusively. Now you can argue that a few of those are first-party, but the point still remains. MS has gone for multiplatform deals while Sony has stuck to securing exclusive rights. You can't argue that.
They are too busy securing multiplats. All of the solid new IPs and exclusives are hitting the PS3. Forza, Halo and Gears of War are the only AAA titles left on the 360, and if you're not a fan of 2 or 3 of those, it isn't worth owning.
NPD only includes North America. Hardly accurate in terms of worldwide sales where the PS3 is dominant.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it. I love the PS3.
I hope Counter-Strike or one of the Half-Life games gets #1. It deserves it.

I'd say it isn't holding the PS3 back, but it's holding gaming back. Without a higher cap of potential, games become stagnant. The biggest thing is the fact that it uses DVD9, which at this point is ancient technology in my opinion.
I'm really addicted to the multiplayer. I'm already level 22.

Those are the only games that deserve it so far this year. My personal choice is Uncharted 2, and I'm sure 99% of people who have played it would agree.

It would still catch-up despite being released a year later and costing twice as much. I'm sure everyone would agree that it catching up at ANY point would be a major success, especially after 360 fans have been say the PS3 is the worst console this generation for 3 years now.
