You know, it's possible to love a console (PS3) and despise the company that manufactures it (Sony).

They're OPINIONS. This review disliked it more than other ones.
This has nothing, NOTHING to do with whether piracy is right or wrong.
No one has ever stopped crime. Ever. Does EA think they've solved a problem humans for the last 50,000 couldn't?
The fact is people will steal. Period. Maybe you should read the article.
(Funny how people don't complain about Bad Company 2's single player DRM. Oh, right. There is none. You don't even need a disc in the drive.)
Ah, good old-fashioned flame bait from John Carmack.
Say it like Walter Thatcher!
"'I think it would be fun to remake Half Life 1'... 'I think it would be FUN to remake Half-Life 1'?! Pffft."
(Wonder if anyone gets the film reference.)
Can't wait.
It got my attention at E3 last year. Played it at PAX East - it's really good.
Not all the games were tagged. (rolling eyes)
Gears of War 3 was mentioned. This wasn't "best games coming out", just "best games of show", and what they showed off at PAX for Gears 3 at the show wasn't anything startlingly new. That's why Guild Wars 2 wasn't on the list either.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is not multiplatform. :p
I was leery about MLB 2K's analog controls, but they nailed it in 2K10 and 2K11.
A lot of it was the bad AI - pitchers throwing nothing but strikes, hitters hacking at every strike in the zone, runners botching easy plays on the basepaths, etc.
Once they fixed that, the core mechanics shone thru.
Actually, the analog control in MLB 11 bites. Big time. You're better off using the old controls.
"The vulnerability of the network was a known vulnerability, one known of in the world. But Sony was not aware of it... was not convinced of it."
In other words, they heard about it, didn't want to believe it.
