littlebigplanet. I could say all kinds of flop stories about that game online, but it is a hiccup, not a fail. Not a whole lot of people (percentage wise) are complaining about the multiplayer. 100% of the people had a problem with lbp though. Your attempt at saying that Gears multiplayer is bad, was just a poor attempt
You sort of have a point. The problem is those are the face of the ps3 to ps3 owners. Go out and asks random people who nathan drake is. Unless they are completely up on the ps3 and all its characters, they won't have a clue. Ask them who Master Chief is though and a lot of people know that person. That is why sony should be marketing the dung (poop) out of sackboy. He would be a very good iconic character.
out of the almost 3 million owners playing Gears 2, about 30,000 are complaining. That's only one percent. Also, the servers have been up since launch. They may be a bit slow, but they are functioning. Now if a game only has around 300,000 people that have purchased a game. Then their servers go down often, that is a problem. I won't say it's flopping, it's just a large problem. Like a 100% online problem.

This website used to be about 50/50 Xbox vs ps3. Now most of the Xbox people have moved on. This site is still the easiest way for me to get my information and that is really one of the only reasons i am here. There are a lot of crazy fans on both sides of the fence, but when people try and degrade someone elses opinion it is more often ps3 fans. The whole flop thing was started by the ps folks, go back last year you will see.
