First off you are correct about 50% of them are Gold Live users. You are way off about the sony users though. See when Microsoft talks about their numbers, they say "Xbox Live users." IMO I see Halo as a story and a good one. One great point is YOu don't need someone showing you hours worth of cut scenes just to get their point across. There is a great back story....if you want to look for it. If you just want the story laid out in front of you, that is also there. The story telling doesn't hold your hand like mgs. I guess Bungie didn't want to shove a story down your throat.

It is a pretty fun game. There are a ton of scripted parts that make you feel like a bad ass. My problem is that it is a corridor shooter. I got so sick playing it that I constantly had to take breaks. I can only stay inside a corridor for so long.

I was just asking why "if he likes COD controls....why is he trying to play a game that has lesser controls". As you can read (hopefully) in my comments, I never once talked about my preferences. That's awesome. It's hard to find games that have come out recently that have the ability to have that much contect on a dvd. Heck it's hard to find a blu ray game that has that much content. I guess dvd really isn't so old of tech after all.
