I believe they are ingame assets. I also believe it will be gorgeous, but I feel bad for the little guy below me.
@pixel....I could say that I don't think they are ingame assets, and they are probably just super high poly counts, that they forgot to add mesh to, but I believe they are the cars ingame, just pre-rendered.
