I remember when this game was first announced. Fully destructible environments was only ever an online feature. I dont know where people thought it would be a single player campaign feature, especially as Microsoft said it was only possible through the online cloud when you played with other people...
Holy fauk! Its just going to be the exact games the 360 could play backwards compatibly... Probably with the same issues each game had as well, like Fable: The Lost Chapters being virtually unplayable the further you got. Or some games having no audio in cutscenes. They're not making the games backwards compatible, no, they're making the Xbox 360's backwards compatibility capabilities... backwards compatible. Now im starting to see the benefits of PAYING for PS4's PS2 emulatio...
Pretty lame added ability considering its probably the most powerful item in the entire franchise.
Yeah, youre probably right but theyre already starting to show 8K televisions to consumers that werent even sure about 4K to begin with. On top of that the constant need for companies to force consumers into thinking they need to upgrade their electronics every two years scares people. Smart phones are one thing, multi-thousand dollar TVs are another. This is the reason most consumers havent adopted into the 4K market yet. Keep in mind most consumers couldnt tell the difference between DVD an...
Nintendo is right. Look at the market right now how everyone is celebrating 4K and HDR yet only 1 in 5 PS4s sold are the 4K Pro model and even with the beefiest PC there still arent any monitors that have HDR unless you hook your PC up to a 4K HDR TV but thats not preferred by like 90% of the PC community. Even with Microsoft announcing the XBox One X, there still doesnt seem to be a demand for the 4K aspect of the machine but rather better games in general with a higher performance. Id rathe...
Thank God! The amount of cancerous indie games this gen is out of control!
Oh yeah, same here. Especially once i realized PSN has a Flash sale every 3rd weekend of every month.
Haha! In what universe? We got some massive exclusives on all consoles. Sounds like more fake news lol!
Wow... Thats alot of garbage. Funny that they surrounded Dead Space 2&3 with that much shit.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! !!!!
For those who havent played it? After this game being rereleased for the millionthtime, i think its safe to say that whoever hasnt played it by now probably doesnt care to at all. Especially when this Link stuff is on the Xbox One and PC versions through mod support. So this isn't really anything new.
Like all those direct feeds from consoles than ended up with everyone finding out the companies lied and it was just a beefed up PC running the games...
@sd11 yeah they did but no one really cared. The whole setup they had didnt get alot of attention.
Considering this Xbox One X is using similar checkerboarding techniques as the PS4 Pro for the majority of its the games, the only real difference is that this Xbox has an UHD Bluray drive which so far hasn't even shown itself to be a big media format yet. Most people are streaming their 4k content which was what Sony said was where the numbers were at and the reason they left that feature out of the Pro. So unless true 4k hdr tvs start becoming more widespread affordable, this console do...
Totally missed opportunity. Cant really justify this now...
Id expect parity in 3rd party games with PS4 Pro but first party AAA games and Xbox exclusives will be gorgeous. That said there still arent many games on the Xbox library current or future to really warrant $100 over the PS4 Pro.
That and Fable Legends was cancelled because they couldnt get the microtransactions the way they wanted either. Microsoft just wants to emulate the mobile market but on console. Every single one of their first party games this gen has had microtransactions, youd think they'd have perfected their shit by now. No doubt in my mind Scalebound was cancelled over a lack of multiplayer bullshit.
Because theyre too busy trying to get Skyrim running on you microwave. E3 2018!
So instead of leading the team to meet these possible expectations, we just went ahead and cancelled yet another good exclusive game!
Pretty decent sale! Ill probably drop $40 on it...
