Thank God! Probably the best case scenario right now

Everyone complains when developers just make cookie cutter sequels so Capcom shook things up with Dead Rising 4. Fans shit the bed when it wasn't a cookie cutter sequel and it didn't sell well. I personally loved the game and its open sandbox nature. I saw it as different and fell in love with what made it special. I've been a fan since day one and have always loved each game for what it was, but this is definitely a case where the fanbase was indeed toxic... Anyway fast forward t...

That was already in there before this update.

"Classic art style"... just be honest here, you have a massive sandbox game with 4k and Ray Tracing happening. Visual fidelity is taking a hit because of the processing power required for those 3 things first and foremost.

The major issue here is that Microsoft and Sony don't want to come out and admit this going forward because many "Next Gen" games aren't going to look a whole lot better than current gen. That's why we are this close to th...

I love open worlds that feel alive but even GTA3 felt more alive than most current open world games.

Not really a fair arguement. If consumers dont care about stories at all then the writers claim they are ignorant and dont understand the expertise level of writing they were given.

If consumers love the story and a writer rewrites a character in order to kill them off, which leads to angered fans, then all the sudden it's the exact same excuse from the writer...

I think it's time we stop blaming consumers and fans and have the writers actually t...

I'd love to see statistics on how many people quit after the "big scene" and how many copies are now on the used market.

Apparently in order to be the perfect video game, according to recent journalistic articles anyway, this game must feature brave lesbians, strong transgender characters, over drawn and stretched out empty story, lots of "diversity", must include the ability to murder pregnant woman, and lastly kill off the main character and spit on their corpse.

Then my friends, only then with you have the "Perfect Game".

These clickbait articles are getting out of hand now.

Pretty sure gaming journalism is over if this is any indication.

Yup and it wont matter cuz we'll end up with both.

I've seen people like Colin Moriarty, who are good friends with Neil Druckmann say this game isnt 10/10... People need to stop simping with Naughty Dog at this point and admit this game could have been a lot better or at the very least, shorter or better paced. If this many people, industry insiders included, have something legitimate to complain about then it's not 10/10.

Uh... no one going to point out that 2K sport games are still going to charge out the ass for microtransactions? You're not paying $70 for a game, they're going to put Kobe on the cover, charge $150 for that version that comes with one unique basketball skin and then come the microtransactions. So when everything is said and done, you've spent around $200 for the game. Theyll pull this with everything else that isnt sport related as well.
