Im not saying it's impossible...
but there's almost no way that this is going to happen. That would be death for the new studio. It's been less than a year since they released TF which was in development for 3-4 years.
Get a new theory, folks.
Here's one: Sony invited industry professionals who want better interaction with their community and they have agreed (in part) in order to foster relations for future work. Plus this ...
.... pretty sure this is just a nod to the 20 yr anniversary.
Yawn fake.
Even the quotes sound like they came from a child and not a well-established PR agent of a multi-million dollar org.
Check out Palitera's comment above. The game ISNT Twisted Metal. New IP. and there are already details online about it:

Imma have to say…. I agree with him? I'll explain before you all lose your mind.
It seems his argument is just that the game got labeled as 'remastered' when they didn't really do more than bump it up graphically and throw it on a system without any competition..
To ME- I personally only spring to buy a second copy of a game on a new system a few years after I've played it. Nostalgia hasn't set in yet. It's very soon for it to have h...
I am surprised how many comments on here
A) don't believe this
B) don't like this
First off, this is an absolute fact- it's ripe fruit and easy for a side team to capitalize on this story while the folks at Gearbox-main hash out a long term strategy for the next full installment. If you need proof, look at [any successful franchise] Rocksteady's Batman series.
My favorite part about this is the fact that Gearbox has co...
Duh! Of course I want greatness.
Yeah….
That's why it's called beta…..
"C'MON!"
Oh good,
I'm glad a well informed decision was made about all games and this award wasn't just handed to a title that is currently on everyone's mind. That would be awful if that kind of decision was hastily made. How embarrassing that would be.
I played NNK to death, sufficiently platting everything. I loved everything about that game and given the high amount of praise the title received over here in the states, it's no wonder it is being considered for the sequel treatment. So wonderful.
K. You got me there. That sounds awesome.
Dude,
No one misses mp3. The only reason it is on this "list" is because he needed to pad his examples of things to cry about.
Here are 2 legitimate things missing from PS3 and 4 that I sincerely believe would lead to less frustration for many people:
1) Organization of Items in the UI (beyond individually naming games for a folder). For instance, games and Downloadable content are only organized by recent use (PS4 only), trophy o...
Pretty dec interview. I'm surprised I didn't hate the IGN guy- he listened, asked great follow up questions, didn't show his nerves… Well done!
Shu is always a pro though, he looked like he just got done with some yoga and this wasn't a stress filled week/month for him. What a bamf.
Well I should frigin hope so, considering the wii u is supposed to be nintendo's next gen console. Good God
This is... How did this get to #1 on hottest news?
If it makes you feel better about it, think of it as Sony investing in PS+ attractiveness to consumers and developers alike. Both parties win. Devs get guaranteed revenue and exposure. Consumers (plus members) get guaranteed games they don't need to shell out more money for.
I... Fail to see any negative side to this transaction.
I gotta say, this made me laugh at how OCD I've become in my quest to leave no stone unturned.
Great read!!
Interesting picks, but I think you're wrong on FF7, and not for the reasons you're thinking.
Square Enix is closer than ever before to going under, and even though they have said countless times they are not going to create this remake because it would void them of resources and creative power for an extended development time, they know they hold this trump card.
Give them 2 more years of piss poor marketing and content creation and I'm confident...
EU got Okami this week? Oh Heeeeaaaaaallll nawwww
"said a company that will sell them"
What did you expect them to say? Come on people..
Zomg... Exaggerate and flame bait somewhere else.
The fighting genre is fine, and exclusivity is actually a good thing for the industry- it creates competition within the genre, a sense of ownership in consumers, and a willingness for other studios to enter.
If this title takes off, other studios will get the chance to prove their worth by being commissioned to create a rival. Success breeds clones.
After all, content is KING. Let the natura...
