I read the article and completely disagree. The thought behind his complaints are sound but not very relevant in the case of Skyrim.
Skyrim is an open world RPG with a few different ways to tackle an objective. It gives you the tools and lets you figure out how to do it.

It is pretty much constructive criticism. Sony has some very strong suits it isn't using. P.C.S. could be used on a very broad scale and I think LBP 1 & 2 and Modnation Racers are the only ones I can think of.
